As 2022 began, Diana and I found ourselves still reminiscing about memories of Diana’s Dad, who passed away on Winter Solstice in 2021. While remaining cautious with the continued threat of Covid, we did enjoy some limited travel and visits. We celebrated Diana’s birthday in Monterey enjoying the Aquarium, so much so that we joined. We also went on a fantastic whale watching voyage, with so many whales we dubbed it “whale-a-palooza.” Our friends John & Jessie came to visit in June and we had a great time exploring the bay area, highlighted by attending the Phil and Friends concert at Stanford’s Frost Amphitheater and viewing the elephant seals at Aņo Nuevo. Sadly, in October, my Mom passed away, and while we miss her dearly, we are comforted that her struggle with dementia has come to an end. The celebration of life gathering was a testament to how many lives she touched, as we all shared our favorite memories of Annabelle. It was great to spend time with so many friends and family telling stories and anecdotes.
